Hey y'all! I'm currently looking up recipes for Mississippi Mud Pies... any guesses on where Mark picked? Looks like he'll be headed to the deep south for some southern home cookin' (not by me of course, we'll have to go out to eat for that...or get my mother to ship it). I do not envy him at all having to make the decision between two great opportunities! Actually, a couple of days after he made his decision, the UK decided that they were going to pass new legislation to restrict student visas so that it is more difficult for international students to just stay in the UK and find work after their studies, so I guess it all worked out for the best, because I would have been deported!

In other news, I was home last week to surprise my little sister, "the shrimp" as Alice in Alice in Wonderland. She is such an amazing dancer and I enjoyed seeing her as the star of the show!! I also got to see a couple of friends from Furman, Lin Lin and Azra, which was so wonderful to be able to catch up!!! We definitely had the most substantial fan base at the performance, as my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins came into town to see the performance- and of course we all wore our "Official Alice Fan Club Member" pins that I made! Hampton and I also wore fan t-shirts- that's another great part of being back this week, I got to see my little godson running all over the place, and snatched up some great hugs from him!
After a wonderful time at home and another week of school/work, Mark decided to come visit me over his Spring Break! So he'll be with me to hear me vent about my intensive-week for my course next week and for the excitement of my family visiting the week after! yay!!
